It was on a vacation in Cancun 20 years ago that we took our family on the ferry across to Isla Mujeres. That day we rented a golf cart and explored the laidback, charming tropical escape from the hustle and bustle of Cancun, making a promise to come back and spend more time in the relaxed, chill atmosphere.

As I write this blog I can’t help but think about how important it is to take care of yourself, body and soul, by taking an escape from the uncertainties that life can throw at us. Three perfect days in beautiful Bermuda. While our fantastic cruise ship, the Norwegian Escape was in port at the Royal Naval Dockyard on the far West End, that was how much time we had to explore. So, with a fair amount of research and chats with friends who have been there before, we made some tough choices and picked an itinerary from a long list of adventures. The good news: it was all good!
